LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard destroyed Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors during Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Monday.
The LA Clippers avoided disaster this past weekend with a dominant Game 3 victory over the Utah Jazz. Plenty of credit can be given to Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, who was completely in the zone to cut their Western Conference semifinals deficit to 2-1. In Game 4, Leonard continued his dominance against the Jazz, this time at the expense of forward Derrick Favors.
With the Clippers holding a comfortable 60-38 lead late in the second quarter, Leonard drove to the paint and completely obliterated Favors with a vicious dunk.

Leonard ruined Favors’ evening with that dunk and proceeded to run down court for his defensive assignment. As per usual, the two-time NBA Finals MVP was all business.
It is not an overreaction to say that that the dunk’s shockwaves were sent throughout the league. Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was in the middle of his postgame press conference following the team’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks when he saw Leonard’s dunk. He was literally mid-answer to a question before being completely thrown off!
The worst thing to happen to the Jazz was taking a 2-0 series lead over the Clippers, because now they have to deal with a motivated Leonard who will take down anyone in his way.
