Charles Barkley managed to insult the Milwaukee Bucks while picking them as his favorite to win the 2021 NBA Finals.

Charles Barkley has a way with words. The NBA Hall of Famer turned TNT analyst doesn’t hold anything back. On Tuesday night, Barkley declared the Milwaukee Bucks as his pick to win the NBA Finals. Not two sentences later, he referred to them as “the dumbest team.”

Sir Charles pointed to Milwaukee’s poor shot selection and propensity for silly fouls as justification for his back-handed compliment.

Leave it to Barkley to trash talk a team in the midst of telling us they’ll win it all.

With a second-half lead in Game 5, the Bucks are on the verge of winning their third straight to take a series lead against the Brooklyn Nets. It certainly feels like things are swinging in their favor, with Giannis Antetokounmpo in particular performing at an elite level tonight.

As Barkley suggests, if the Bucks can take better advantage of mismatches, they could well be on their way to their first NBA Championship since 1971.
