Albert Pujols blasted a three-run home run on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks and it only adds to the headaches for Angels fans.
Despite being 41 years old, Albert Pujols continues to mash home runs. Now, he’s doing so for the Los Angeles Dodgers instead of the Los Angeles Angels, as the latter surprisingly released him in the middle of the season.
On Sunday, Pujols reminded the Angels of what they’re missing, as he belted a 3-run homer going up against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Seriously, Angels fans must be shaking their heads watching Pujols continue to leave the yard. You know they’re getting trolled left and right as well.
Angels fans must be furious as they watch Albert Pujols keep belting homers
The fact that the Angels are still paying Pujols too only adds to the frustration. You’ve almost got to feel bad for the Angels.

He hit his 1st career HR in this ballpark, too -- off Armando Reynoso on April 6, 2001 in his 4th career game

Ever since joining the Dodgers, Pujols has been able to play at a high level. While with the Angels, he had five homers to his name, but he was batting below .200. That of course was not what anyone expected to see from the future Hall-of-Famer. Now, Pujols is hitting right around .250, with six homers for the Dodgers.
It’s almost as if the move across town has helped revive his career. With him being 41, it’s clear that Pujols’ playing days are nearly over. At the same time, if he’s still hitting homers consistently and looking like a stud in the process, he may be able to play a few more seasons. With Tom Brady looking like he’s got five years left in the NFL, we could see Pujols continue to defy the odds.
With this happening, though, the poor Angels supporters must continue to suffer. Hey, that’s not the Dodgers problem.
