1. Buddy Hield to the Lakers

Shooting. That is what every LeBron James-led team must have to be successful. Unfortunately, the Lakers were in the bottom third of the league in 3-point shooting at 35.5 percent this season, according to NBA.com. It’s obvious that LA needs to address this issue in the offseason, and there might be no better solution than Buddy Hield.

Hield’s time with the Sacramento Kings might be up thanks to Tyrese Haliburton’s quick rise. That, and his desire to win a ring, might be enough for the Lakers to bring him down to L.A. His skill set would be a perfect match for James and the team. He is a marksman from three, and his contract isn’t too bad. He makes roughly $23 million next season, but his salary drops to $19 million in his final year according to Spotrac.

That contract will allow the Lakers to ship off fewer pieces if they so choose. Kuzma will likely be the lone guaranteed piece of this trade, but LA can play around with other pieces. They could throw KCP in the mix, or Harrell, Gasol, McKinnie, maybe all of them. But the options are endless for the Lakers in how to get Buddy Hield, and his shooting fits a dire need for LA.
