Suns vs Clippers prediction, odds, spread, line, over/under and betting info for Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Monday.
The Los Angeles Clippers were riding high following their Game 3 win over the Phoenix Suns. That was their first Western Conference Finals game win in franchise history. But, the celebrations ended on Saturday after the Clippers fell 84-80, putting the Suns just one more win away from reaching the NBA Finals.
Game 4 was certainly winnable for both teams, but they each forgot how to put the ball in the basket for the better part of fourth quarter. Both the Suns and the Clippers scored a grand total of 29 points in what was a stressful affair for fans of both organizations.
Deandre Ayton made a difference in the game, as he not only scored 19 points, but also grabbed 22 rebounds, 13 of which came on defense. Paul George did shoot poorly from the field for the Clippers (5-for-20), but did tally 23 points (12-for-18 on free throws) and 16 rebounds (all on defense).
It is simple goal for the Suns — win and you are in the Finals. But if these NBA Playoffs have shown us anything, it is that the Clippers are going to be a hard team to eliminate, even without Kawhi Leonard in the lineup.

Suns vs. Clippers Game 5 prediction and pick
The Suns hold the immediate advantage on Monday night. Not only did they squeeze out what was a coin flip of a game, they get to return to their home arena in Phoenix with the chance to clinch their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993 in front of their fans. Not only that, but veteran point guard Chris Paul has the chance to compete for the Larry O’Brien Trophy for the first time in his career.
But, the Clippers have shown throughout this series that they can make life miserable for the Suns. Even so, it feels as though all of the momentum is behind Phoenix. Expect the Suns to win Game 5 and take the under 208, considering their point totals in their last two meetings fell below the 200-point mark.
