Travis Kelce won free beer for Kansas City Chiefs fans this fall after winning a longest drive golf challenge at Tight End University.

Ever since joining the Kansas City Chiefs as a third-round selection in the 2013 NFL Draft, Travis Kelce solidified himself as a fan favorite for his play on the field and for his electric personality. Now, he has given Chiefs fans even more reason to love him.

At Tight End University, Kelce won a longest drive contest at a Top Golf location in Nashville, Tenn. by clearing the net placed 250-yards away. As a result of winning the challenge, Kelce won free Bud Light for all Chiefs fans age 21 and older to celebrate National Tight End’s Day on Oct. 24.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle made the announcement on his official Twitter account.

Chiefs: Travis Kelce wins free beer for fans to celebrate National Tight End’s Day

Kelce is a man of the people, and some people like their beer. Now, those individuals get a free Bud Light on the day of a huge game for the Chiefs, as they take on the Tennessee Titans.

Tight End University was set up by Kittle, Kelce and the recently-retired Greg Olsen, as they brought the top tight ends in the league down to Nashville to hone their skills as a group. Some tight ends that attended include Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles, Darren Waller of the Las Vegas Raiders and Atlanta Falcons first-round pick Kyle Pitts. And yes, Kelce was excited throughout the event.

Kelce is coming off a 2020 season where he recorded 105 catches for 1,416 yards and 11 touchdowns on 145 targets.

The Chiefs fanbase has high hopes entering the 2021 season. The team followed up a devastating loss in Super Bowl 55 and had one of the more impressive offseason performances in the league. If the Chiefs live up to the lofty expectations (as they normally do), then there are going to plenty of celebratory brewski’s consumed throughout the season.

If you are a Chiefs fan, be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled when it comes to how to obtain a free Bud Light on Oct. 24. And, as always, be sure to drink responsibly.
