NBA Twitter was so happy for Chris Paul after his Phoenix Suns beat the LA Clippers to advance to the NBA Finals.
Chris Paul has been in the NBA for 16 seasons. Thanks to Wednesdayās Game 6 victory over the LA Clippers, the Phoenix Suns point guard is heading to the NBA Finals for the first time in his career.
Itās been a very long time coming, so Paulās reaction was just as emotional as youād expect.
Heās wanted this for a very, very long time.
āDamn this feel good.ā

The Suns went ahead 3-1 in the series, but they lost Game 5 to the resilient Clippers. Losing a Game 6 would have opened the flood gates of doubt going into Game 7.
Paul responded the way any team wants their veteran point guard to step up. He hit 7-of-8 3-point attempts to rack up 41 points. He had 8 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals as well.
He absolutely deserved to make it to the NBA Finals after that outing and after all the hard work heās put in for almost two decades.
This man deserves it.@CP3 pic.twitter.com/CJhQLj9Uu8

Paul and the Suns get to sit back and look forward to their NBA Finals matchup while waiting for the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks to resolve their Eastern Conference Finals series.
Whoever advances, theyāll have to face a man on a mission in Chris Paul.
