Alabama football star Bryce Young has signed with CAA to help him take advantage of NIL.
With NIL legislation going into effect on July 1 throughout the country, Alabama football star quarterback Bryce Young has signed with CAA to help him with his potential marketing efforts.
Young is entering his sophomore season at Alabama. While he played sparingly backing up last year’s Davey O’Brien winner Mac Jones a season ago, keep in mind that Young was a five-star recruit coming out of California powerhouse Mater Dei. Though he has never started a game in the SEC, Young should be one of the most marketable athletes in his Power Five conference in 2022.
It makes all the sense in the world for a quarterback with Young’s upside to sign with CAA for NIL.

Alabama football: Quarterback Bryce Young signs with CAA to help with NIL
Not only does Young play for one of the best programs in the country, but he could be incredibly marketable, not just in the Southeastern footprint, but back over on the West Coast where is from. Young is only entering his true sophomore season with the Crimson Tide. While he may not be the next great Alabama quarterback, he will benefit from their success on the field at least initially.
Despite losing so much talent to the 2021 NFL Draft, Alabama is the favorite to win the SEC and get back to the College Football Playoff. Alabama may not be deep enough to repeat as national champions, but getting the Crimson Tide back to the playoff in his first year as a starter would be quite the accomplishment for Young. Look for him to cash in on many NIL opportunities as well.
Young is incredibly marketable, so why would he not sign with a major agency like CAA for NIL?
