Canadiens vs Lightning NHL live stream reddit for Stanley Cup Finals Game 3
The Stanley Cup Finals moves to Montreal for Game 3 as the Canadiens look to get one back against the Lightning on Friday.
The defending Stanley Cup winners held serve in Tampa Bay as the Lightning took the first two games of this year’s title series.
Can the Canadiens get back in the mix with a Game 3 victory?
The hockey world will find out on Friday night as the series moves to Montreal.
The Lightning have a commanding 2-0 advantage, but the odds can begin to even if the Canadiens find a way to win on their home ice.
Tampa Bay had the definite edge in the first two meetings. Goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevskiy set the tone defensively with 60 saves across the opening games. Nikita Kucherov has found the net twice, while Brayden Point has dished three assists so far in the series.
The Canadiens played much better in Game 2, but it didn’t result in a victory. They’ll need to keep the adjustments coming while figuring out how to get the puck past Vasilevskiy, which is much easier said than done. Nick Suzuki is leading the team with six goals this postseason to go along with eight assists. He and Ben Chiarot are the only Habs who have scored against Tampa Bay.
Montreal has some good news welcoming Dominique Ducharme back after a 14-day COVID-19 quarantine for Friday’s game. Meanwhile, the Lightning won’t have Alex Killorn for another game. He’s been ruled out after missing Game 2 as well.
