Minnesota United FC midfielder Hassani Dotson proposed to his girlfriend on the pitch after the team’s 2-2 draw against San Jose.

At sporting events, you will sometimes see a fan get on one knee and pop the question to their significant other. But when it comes to sports engagements, Minnesota United FC midfielder Hassani Dotson may have topped the list for the best of all-time.

Minnesota United drew a 2-2 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes in MLS action on Saturday. Following the game, Dotson’s girlfriend appeared on the pitch and was stunned to see the midfielder down on one knee with a knee in his right hand.

And yes, she said yes.

Through 11 games this season, Dotson has recorded one goal and one assists on 20 shots.

While Minnesota did walk away with the draw, Doston and his girlfriend walked off the pitch with with the proverbial win. Congratulations to the happy couple.
