Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young will be active for Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks after missing the last two games with a right foot injury.
The Atlanta Hawks enter Game 6 on Saturday needing a win to keep their NBA title hopes alive. If they lose to the Milwaukee Bucks, they will be eliminated and their unbelievable season will reach it’s end. But luckily for the Hawks, their star will be ready to stave off elimination on Saturday.
According to ESPN’s Malika Andrews and Adrian Wojnarowski, guard Trae Young will be active for Game 6 on Saturday night against the Bucks. Young had missed the past two games of the Eastern Conference Finals after suffering a deep bone bruise in his right foot.

Young suffered the injury in the latter portion of Game 3, when he inadvertently stepped on the foot of a sideline official, causing his right foot to turn awkwardly. It was later diagnosed to be a bone bruise, which forced him to miss Game 4 due to “severe lack of mobility.”
Through the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals, Young is averaging 32.7 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 46.6-percent from the field and 28.7-percent from the three-point line.
Young returns for the Hawks as the Bucks continue to take the court without star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who suffered a left knee hyperextension back in Game 4. With both stars inactive for Game 5, the Hawks kept things relatively close before ultimately losing 123-112 on Thursday.
The Hawks star guard felt that his right foot was good to go for Game 6, and will try to keep the team’s season alive with a win to force a Game 7 on Monday.
