Everything you need to know about the Best Buy 4th of July sale, like Best Buy 4th of July hours and Is Best Buy open July 4th?

The electronic retailer will be open for the holiday, with all stores nationwide operating on their normal Sunday hours. For most of the country, that means that Best Buy will be open from 10 AM to 7 PM local time.  However, shoppers would expect to follow that schedule for locations with normal Sunday hours that differ from 10 AM to 7 PM.

The move is not surprising as the chain is routinely open on the 4th of July. With stiff competition from online giants like Amazon and other retailers like Walmart, Best Buy offers some of its best deals during their holiday sales. This year is no exception.

This year’s sale offerings don’t vary significantly from previous years.  The retailer is offering great deals on television, desktop computers, laptop computers, and various other personal electronics. Notably, they are taking $1,000 off the Sony – 77″ Class BRAVIA XR A80J Series OLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV, one of the best-reviewed 4K televisions.  Other televisions are discounted anywhere from $40 to $500.

Similar deals can be found on personal computers.  Shoppers can get $30+ off of select Chromebooks, while select Apple Macbooks are being discounted $200. The Microsoft Surface Pro X is $300 during the sale.  Absent from the sale, however, are all gaming consoles.

The Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X gaming consoles are largely unavailable nationwide.  Sold out through just about every retailer, you already can’t get your hands on one and this sale will not increase your chances. Expecting to find one and get a sale price is equivalent to expecting Lebron James to deliver your next carryout order.

Make sure to visit Best Buy’s website for full details on all of the sale items, but be sure to either go in-store or purchase online over the weekend.  The sale ends Monday, July 5, 2021.
