By Chad Porto
If you’re craving a quick snack before chowing down on some BBQ, you might be asking yourself: is Chick-fil-A open July 4th
Who doesn’t love a good piece of fried chicken? Maybe some chicken nuggets, and who wouldn’t love a nice cool drink to wash it all down with? Now I’m hungry. If you’re easily enticed to go get food once you hear about it too, you’ll probably want to stop by Chick-fil-A at some point in the next 24 hours.
That means potentially hitting Chick-fil-A on July 4th, aka, Independence Day. Now, since Independence Day is a federal holiday, that means that places like banks and the post office won’t be open, and in turn, a lot of businesses won’t be open either. So if you’re hankering for some of that savor chicken goodness, you might be left holding the proverbial bag waiting.
That’s because Chick-fil-A is not open on Independence Day.
Is Chick-fil-A open July 4th
Now, this year July 4th is landing on a Sunday, which is a day that Chick-fil-A is closed anyway. That means that they’re not actually getting a day off. When banks and post offices have this situation happen to them, they and other federal organizations take July 5th off as well, in order to give people an extra day off.
So, is that the case for Chick-fil-A? Will they be closed on Monday as well? If you were worried you’d have to get your deep-fried chicken from somewhere else, fear not, because the chicken restaurant of your dreams will in fact be open come Monday, July 5th
Because they’re a private organization, they won’t be observing the same holiday schedule, and won’t be giving their employees off an extra day. That means if you have a chicken nugget addiction that just won’t quit, you’ll just simply have to wait one extra day to get your needs met.
