The announcement of the 2021 MLB All-Star Game rosters brought out plenty of complaints about unbelievable snubs on Twitter.
There’s only one thing fans like more than celebrating their favorite players being selected for the MLB All-Star Game. That’s complaining about the players who were snubbed.
On Sunday, after MLB released the full rosters for the American League and National League squads, you can bet there were questions about the guys who missed out.
Who stands out among the snubs? Twitter had thoughts on the subject.
Which players were snubs for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game?
Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford got a shoutout from a teammate as an All-Star snub.
Shed Long Jr. on how disappointed he is that J.P. Crawford didn't make the All Star team: "It disgusts me."
— Jen Mueller (@JenTalksSports) July 4, 2021
Notes he can't wait to see what Crawford does next since the snub provides more motivation
Seattle thought they should have had more than just pitcher Yusei Kikuchi make the squad.
The Indians are sending pitcher Shane Bieber and third baseman Jose Ramirez to Denver for the All-Star festivities. Should they have had two more?
Put Emmanuel Clase near or at the top of the biggest snubs for the AL All Stars.

Guy is incredibly deserving and is having a monster year, anchoring the back of the #Tribe pen
Also - add Aaron Civale to that biggest snubs list. AL leader in Wins before the finger injury https://t.co/DGElWbtwxD

A trio of Dodgers will be making the trip, including first baseman Max Muncy and outfielders Mookie Betts and Chris Taylor. However, Will Smith is not.
Fans had complaints and jokes to make together.

Nelson Cruz is the only member of the Twins who made the AL team. Reliever Taylor Rogers has an argument as a snub.
Was #MNTwins reliever @trogers34 an All-Star snub?

It was no surprise to see shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr., second baseman Jake Cronenworth, starting pitcher Yu Darvish and closer Mark Melancon make the cut for the Padres.
Many fans couldn’t believe Manny Machado wasn’t in that number.
Machado is an easy All-Star snub call. I'd make an arugment for Grisham and Musgrove as worthy too. Stoked that we'll have plenty of Pads in the game this year though. #HungryForMore KYAL

An All Star Game without Manny Machado is an event based on lies.
— The Kept Faith (@thekeptfaith) July 4, 2021
Chris Taylor and Mookie making it over Manny Machado is some bullshit. Manny has better stats and is way better defensively than both
— Curtis Manlapig (@curtismanlapig) July 4, 2021
Mets fans were just as annoyed to see Taijuan Walker left out.
Jacob deGrom has officially been named an NL All-Star. In a snub to Taijuan Walker, deGrom is the only player representing the Mets.
— Deesha (@DeeshaThosar) July 4, 2021
This is deGrom's fourth All-Star nod in his eight-year career.
Taijuan Walker may be the biggest All-Star snub
— Blake (@BlakesTakes2) July 4, 2021
Walker has to replace Jake when Jake officially opts out. Walker is an all-star. What a snub
— Casey (@CaseyJ_516) July 4, 2021
Taijuan Walker didn’t make the all-star roster? That’s a crime.

The 2021 MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for July 13. Those who were disappointed not to make the roster have plenty of season left to prove the doubters wrong.
