Italy take on Spain on Tuesday at Wembley Stadium in London in the semifinals of Euro 2020. Here’s what you need to know.

Italy, the hottest team at the Euros, will put their 32-game consecutive unbeaten streak on the line Tuesday against Spain at London’s Wembley Stadium for a shot at the final.

The Azzurri return to London, where they defeated Austria 2-1 after extra time in the Round of 16. Italy reached the semifinals after edging out Belgium, FIFA’s top-ranked team, 2-1 last Friday in Munich. Italy have won all five of their matches at these European Championships. They have also won their last 13 matches.

“We will now savor this moment. We’ll try and rest up because it will be another tough match,” Italy manager Roberto Mancini told reporters.

Mancini has built his side around a team work ethic rather than individual stars. In fact, the team’s top scorers are four players, Ciro Immobile, Matteo Pessina, Manuel Locatelli and Lorenzo Insigne, who all have scored two goals each.

Spain, meanwhile, have had a tougher road to the semis, but have improved with each game. La Roja advanced following a penalty-kick shootout last Friday in the quarterfinals against Switzerland in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Despite needing penalties to get past the Swiss, this is a high-scoring team, having found the back of the net 12 times over five tournament matches.

These two proud soccer nations will meet at the European Championship for the fourth consecutive tournament.

The last time either team reached a major final was at Euro 2012, where Spain demolished Italy 4-0 to defend its title.

Italy eliminated Spain in the Round of 16 at Euro 2016 by beating them 2-0. Spain beat Italy on penalties in the quarterfinals of Euro 2008, en route to the title.
