Noah Brown. 123. Pick Analysis. WR, Cowboys. Scouting Report. . 2.. player

A seventh-round pick in 2017, Brown totaled nine catches over his first two seasons. Then he missed the entire 2019 season due to a knee injury. Last year, he saw the heaviest action of his career, topping 200 snaps offensively and on special teams, with 14 receptions for 154 yards.

Dallas is loaded at wide receiver, with Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup holding down the top three spots. Further down the depth chart, Brown will be competing with Cedrick Wilson, rookie Simi Fehoko, Malik Turner, Aaron Parker, T.J. Vasher, Johnnie Dixon and others during camp. Wilson and Fehoko feel like the front runners for a spot on the final 53, so it will come down to how many wide receivers the Cowboys decide to keep (and try to retain on the practice squad, if it comes to that). In any case, there will be a lot of guys competing for relatively few spots.

Brown could stand out from that crowd of depth during camp and the preseason, and earn a 53-man roster spot heading into Week 1. But it won’t be easy, and the Cowboys have surely already seen enough of him to assess whether they’d try to keep him around on the practice squad. The odds of the latter move seem remote.
