Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher reacting to the Euro Final was truly a journey. 

Leave it to the man who once snorted methamphetamine thinking it was cocaine to take us on a wild journey through something seemingly meaningless.

Football, at it’s core like most sports, is nothing more than men playing a boy’s game in which a ball is kicked around. Sometimes it is stopped by a net and counted for a point, sometimes it’s not, but it’s nothing more than a game.

That’s what fans in England are trying to tell themselves as the country tries to pick itself up after a crushing loss in the Euro Final. Italy defeated England on penalties, finishing off a miraculous run to establish itself as the finest football country in Europe.

Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher channeled an English stiff upper lip in defeat, but also took us on an absolute journey through the Euro Final on Sunday.
