If you ask superstar pass-rusher Von Miller, he thinks the Denver Broncos have what it takes to land Aaron Rodgers this offseason.

Here we are in mid-July and no one knows what the future has in store for Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay Packers superstar recently said he’ll have his mind made up in the coming weeks for the 2021 season. Will he suit up for the Packers or sit out?

Well, if you ask the one and only Von Miller, those shouldn’t be his only two options. While speaking with Broncos’ insider Mike Klis, Miller said he thinks Denver has was it takes to pull off a blockbuster trade to land No. 12. He showed plenty of love to John Elway in the process. With that said, Elway owes it to Miller, a true fan favorite, to go out and make something happen.

Broncos pass-rusher Von Miller thinks Denver can work its magic to acquire Aaron Rodgers

“First and foremost, I’m comfortable with Drew (Lock), I’m comfortable with Teddy (Bridgewater). G.P. (George Paton) and John Elway, if A-Rod is out there for us to get him, those are the two guys to have on the job,” Miller told Mike Klis of 9News.  “John Elway, he’s done a great job of working the big-time guys before — Peyton (Manning) and DeMarcus (Lawrence) and Aqib (Talib) — all these other guys. So if there’s a guy to be had, G.P. and John Elway are the two to put on it, if it can be done.”

While Miller made it clear he’s got belief in Lock, there’s simply no comparing him – or Bridgewater – to Rodgers. Rodgers was nothing short of sensational last season, taking home 2020 MVP honors after throwing for 48 touchdowns and only five interceptions.

If Rodgers were to make his way to Denver, the Broncos would immediately become serious contenders in the AFC.  We’ll see if Elway can pull things off. If he did, Miller would of course be ecstatic. After Manning’s playing days in the Mile High City, the Broncos haven’t had success with their signal-callers. Despite the lows, Miller has stayed loyal to the team and given it all for the jersey he wears. Elway owes it to him to make something happen.
