There’s only one sporting event on tonight, there’s no excuse to not get in on the MLB All-Star Game action.

Coor’s Field will be the site of this year’s game, and all of the best players in baseball will be out in force to celebrate the National Pasttime. While the MLB All-Star Game is the event, Shohei Ohtani is the main attraction and the reason everyone should be watching.

Through the first half of the season, Ohtani has 33 home runs, 56 extra-base hits, a .698 slugging percentage, has stolen 12 bases in 16 attempts, and shares the league lead in triples. He has also 4-1 in 13 starts on the mound and boasts a 3.49 ERA with 87 strikeouts in 67 innings.

Not since Babe Ruth has a baseball player been this good at so many things, and Ohtani is only getting started.

Shohei Ohtani made his Derby debut and turned in an instant classic duel with Juan Soto. Ohtani ended up losing, but not after the full time, a bonus round, and a three-pitch Swing Off was needed to decide a winner.

For all the hype and awesomeness of the Ohtani-Soto showdown, the show belonged to reigning Home Run Derby champion Pete Alonso.

The Mets star successfully defended his crown, winning back-to-back titles and doing so in absolutely epic fashion.

Alonso defeated Trey Mancini in the Final.
