Suns: Chris Paul sporting WNBA shirt ahead of Game 4 of NBA Finals
The shirt was not the only shoutout that Paul gave to the WNBA, as he filmed a video to hype up the WNBA All-Star Game.
Team WNBA defeated Team USA by the score of 93-85. Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale was named MVP of the game after recording 26 points while shooting 10-for-18 from the field and 5-for-10 from behind the arc.
Paul’s Suns held the early advantage through the first two games of the NBA Finals, but the momentum shifted to the Bucks’ favor in Game 3. Milwaukee defeated Phoenix by the score of 120-100 thanks to the historic performance of star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who tallied 41-points (14-of-23 from field), 13 rebounds and six assists. In that game, Paul scored 19 points (8-for-14 from field) and dished out nine assists in 34 minutes of playing time.
The Suns have the opportunity to return home just one win away from hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy for the first time in franchise history. But, that will only happen if they can avoid the mistakes they made in Game 3 and pull out the victory in Game 4.
