Best DraftKings British Open PGA DFS lineups
Rather than just offering up one line and leaving you with that, we’re going to go through three DraftKings PGA DFS lineups that I would feel comfortable playing
Stars and Scrubs
- Jon Rahm ($11,300)
- Jordan Spieth ($9,700)
- Louis Oosthuizen ($9,300)
- Ryan Palmer ($6,900)
- Chris Kirk ($6,400)
- Sam Burns ($6,300)
This lineup has all the upside in the world. Rahm, Spieth and Oosthuizen is a conceivable 1-2-3 finishing group while Palmer, Kirk and Burns all have top-20 upside. There is inherent risk with the lower-priced players but the British Open indeed offers the opportunity for a strong stars and scrubs approach.
Mid-Tier Load-Up
- Patrick Cantlay ($8,900)
- Patrick Reed ($8,800)
- Paul Casey ($8,600)
- Scottie Scheffler ($8,200)
- Cameron Smith ($7,800)
- Sergio Garcia ($7,600)
Avoiding the $10,000 and $9,000 ranges isn’t something I’d recommend for a tournament play but in cash games this lineup should be awesome. There is upside with some win equity involved but, more importantly, every player here feels like a safe bet for a top-30 finish.
My Ideal Lineup
- Jon Rahm ($11,300)
- Viktor Hovland ($9,100)
- Paul Casey ($8,600)
- Harris English ($7,300)
- Ryan Palmer ($6,900)
- Lucas Herbert ($6,800)
Admittedly, this isn’t far off from the stars and scrubs approach but being able to reach into the $7,000 range and get English is big for my confidence in what this lineup can do. There are three legitimate winner picks here in addition to a bonafide sleeper in English. This is a strong, strong lineup you can build on DraftKings.
