Much like how Jrue Holiday snatched the ball away from a stunned Devin Booker to set up the dunk, the Bucks stole all of the momentum from the Phoenix Suns in Game 5 in one sequence.
Giannis thunderously announced that he is the captain of the series now, and it’s officially the Bucks to lose.
After leaping out to a 2-0 series lead, the Suns now face elimination after losing three-straight games. It’s not just that they lost the games, it’s how they lost them. Booker scored 40-points in back-to-back games and the Suns still lost; that’s unthinkable after how the team ran roughshod through the Western Conference playoff bracket.
The Jrue Holiday steal and Giannis dunk will become the stuff of basketball lore in Milwaukee if the Bucks can win the series.
