The 2021 Olympic women’s soccer tournament begins on July 21 with games featuring the best and brightest players from around the world. Here’s how to watch.

Women’s soccer at the 2021 Olympics is on the way.

The tournament featuring USWNT stars and hopefuls from 11 other nations kicks off on Wednesday, July 21. It will continue through Aug. 5, when the gold medal match in Tokyo will determine an Olympic champion.

As with all other Olympics coverage, NBC will handle the coverage of the women’s soccer tournament from across Japan.

Games during the women’s soccer tournament will be broadcast on a variety of NBC networks and streaming channels, including NBCSN, USA and the Olympic Channel.

The group stage will begin with a bout between Great Britain and Chile on the Olympic Channel. The USWNT will make their debut against Sweden on July 21 at 4:30 a.m. ET on USA.

The USA women will also face New Zealand on July 24 at 7:40 a.m. ET on USA.

Their final group stage game will take place on July 27 against Australia at 4:00 a.m. ET on USA.

The quarterfinals will be decided on July 30, with the semifinals on Aug. 2. The final will be played on Aug. 5 at 10:00 p.m. ET on USA. The USWNT plans to be in it.

The USWNT will be led by a slew of recognizable names, including Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morna, Rose Lavelle, Tobin Heath, Carli Lloyd and more. They’re the favorites to win it all, but that will mean exorcising their demons from the last Olympics when they failed to medal for the first time ever after being knocked out in the quarterfinals by Sweden.
