2021 Olympics women’s street skateboarding final: How to watch online
Skateboarding for both men and women is making its Olympics debut at the 2021 Tokyo Games. Here’s how to watch and more.
For the first time in Olympics history, skateboarding is on display featuring some of the greatest competitors from all over the world.
Sunday featured the men’s street competition, and resulted in Yuto Horigome of Japan take home the gold medal in front of his native country. Kelvin Hoefler (Brazil) won the silver medal and Jagger Eaton (USA) won bronze.
The next group of events will feature the women street skateboarding competitors who will begin their street events on Monday, July 26 (Tokyo), but later on Sunday, July 25 (USA) due to the 13 hour time lapse.

Competitions during the women’s skateboarding events will be broadcast on a variety of NBC networks and streaming channels, including NBCSN, USA and the Olympic Channel.

The preliminary rounds will consists of four sections beginning at 7:30 p.m. (ET), and lead up to the street final set to take place about a half hour before midnight (ET).
Street skate competitions are designed after urban environments. The idea is to give skaters the feeling of skating on a street, with objects that include ramps and stairs. The contestants will use these props to perform stunts and score points during their runs.
