The rematch between USA’s Katie Ledecky and Australia’s Ariarne Titmus is set for the women’s 200m freestyle final at the 2021 Olympics. Here’s how you can watch the event.

The Titmus/Ledecky rivalry has been the talk of the women’s swimming events this Olympic Cycle. Ariarne Titmus of Australia has already beaten the United States’ Katie Ledecky in the 400m freestyle just last night, making this story arc even more entertaining to see how the next round will close out for both sides.

Ledecky, the prodigy and the standard for women’s swim, took the silver with stride as Titmus took gold. But that doesn’t mean the competition will stop there. Both women have qualified for the 200m freestyle final, slated to take place tonight.

The women’s Olympic 200m freestyle live stream and broadcast info

  • Date: July 27
  • Time: 9:41p.m. (EST)/10:41a.m (Tokyo)
  • TV Channel: NBC

While the Titmus/Ledecky rivalry is the one to watch for, we have to keep an eye out for who may take the third-place spot for the medal ceremony. Though it seems as if Ledecky and Titmus are a guaranteed gold and silver spot, you can’t rule out fellow Aussie, Madison Wilson, who is taking lane 8.

In a fight to the finish, it seems as though it’s definite that there will be an Australian and an American on the podium come the end of the night. The full schedule for the swimming events can be found on NBC Sports.
