Cleveland Browns get fantastic update on Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr. is back to full health after tearing his ACL last season and he’ll be ready to rock once training camp gets underway.
After suffering his torn ACL last season, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been working around the clock to make sure he’ll be good to go for the 2021 campaign. Well, big news has arrived for head coach Kevin Stefanski.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the superstar wide receiver passed his physical and he won’t start camp on the PUP list. Instead, Beckham is expected to be out on the field with the rest of his teammates from the start of things.
Odell Beckham Jr. passing his physical is big news for the Cleveland Browns
While it’s unclear if Beckham will be going full speed, the fact that he’ll be in uniform sure is big for this team. When healthy, there’s simply no denying that Beckham is one of the most entertaining receivers in the game.
Last season, he was only able to play in seven games, but his production sure did drop quite a bit, as he was held to 23 receptions for 319 yards and three touchdowns. The year before, he finished the season with 1,035 yards and four scores.
When Beckham was first traded to the Browns from the New York Giants, Cleveland fans dreamed of the man known as OBJ potentially helping them win a Super Bowl. Instead, things haven’t quite gone according to plan, though the Browns did make it to the Divisional Round last winter.
Come 2021, Cleveland is hoping to make it even further in the playoffs. In order for that to happen, Beckham will need to stay healthy and make his usual head-turning kind of plays.
