Randall Cobb is excited about his return to the Green Bay Packers this upcoming NFL season.

Randall Cobb is reuniting with Aaron Rodgers on the Green Bay Packers and it feels so good.

For Rodgers to return to the Packers for presumably one last season in 2021, the reigning NFL MVP requested his former Green Bay wide receiver to be on the roster. Cobb played eight seasons in Green Bay with Rodgers as his quarterback, hauling in 470 catches for 5,524 yards and 41 touchdowns. He most recently played with the Houston Texans last year. Cobb is very excited.

Here is what the 2014 Pro Bowler with the Packers tweeted on Wednesday morning about his triumphant return to Green Bay.

Randall Cobb could not be more excited about returning to the Green Bay Packers

Cobb may be on the wrong side of 30, but he knows he will likely have his best year with the 2021 Packers since originally leaving them back in 2019. This may only be a one-season deal with Rodgers and Cobb reuniting in Green Bay, but if it keeps the reigning NFL MVP happy, then so be it. Green Bay is only contending for a Super Bowl 56 berth if Rodgers keeps playing at an elite level.

As far as what this reunion means for the Packers, it means we can probably count on Green Bay repeating as the NFC North champions. While the Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings should push for playoff spots, neither team has the quarterbacking fire power of Green Bay with Rodgers. 2022 may be all about Jordan Love in Titletown, but for now, it remains The Aaron Rodgers Show.

Look for Cobb to have around 60 catches for 600 yards and four touchdowns with the Packers.
