Suni Lee is the gold medal winner in the all-around, continuing the stretch of dominance for Team USA in the event.
This marks the fifth straight summer Olympics that an American has won the gold medal in the all-around.

Biles entered the Olympics as the leading contender from the Americans to repeat as the all-around champion but withdrew during the team event citing her mental health. She later withdrew from the individual all-around competition, opening the door for Lee to continue the gold medal streak for Team USA.
She did just that with a strong floor routine to finish with a 57.433 to cement the gold medal for the Auburn gymnast.
Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade stepped out of bounds during her floor routine on two occasions to preserve the gold for Lee. ROC’s Angelina Melnikova took home the bronze medal.
