Tom Daley knitting in the stands at the Olympics is beyond wholesome.

Great Britain’s star diver, Tom Daley, was caught on camera doing something really sweet in the stands at the 2021 Olympics. He was knitting. And that’s so wholesome. The knitting isn’t exactly new for Daley (he appears to be quite good at it) but doing it in the middle of the biggest sporting event in the world is pretty newsworthy.

The moment happened during the women’s 3m springboard final on Sunday morning.

“There’s Tom Daley — he’s got his knitting needles out,” one BBC commentator said. “What do you reckon he’s crafting there? I wonder who he’s making that purple concoction for?”

Daley had already won a gold medal in the men’s 10m platform, earlier in the week.

He’s rumored to be making bags for his gold medals. How cute is that?
