Things simply could not be going better for the Chicago White Sox right now. Not only is the club looking like one of the best teams in the bigs, but they also acquired Craig Kimbrel ahead of the MLB trade deadline. How could things improve?

Well, the team just revealed its ‘Field of Dreams’ jerseys and to say they’re awesome is nothing short of an understatement. Seriously, try looking at the gear below and not smile. It’s much easier said than done.

Those jerseys are absolutely sweet. On August 12, White Sox fans will be ready to see the club take on the New York Yankees in the first-ever Field of Dreams Game in Iowa.

This tilt will be a lot of fun.

Not only will it feature two loaded lineups, but the good folks over in Iowa have been hard at work to make this happen. For the Yankees, they’ve got some newfound confidence with Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo now in town.

Meanwhile, for Chicago, it really has been a sensational season thus far, despite all the injury adversity the team has had to overcome. Chicago, in its first year with Tony La Russa as the skipper, is 63-45 and in first place of the AL Central standings, 9.5 games ahead of Cleveland.

The White Sox have been among the biggest surprises this year. It’s been great to see. Now, fans across the country will watch them take on the Yankees on Aug. 12 looking stunning in their fresh jerseys. This should be a game to remember.
