Benches clear during high-drama Cowboys, Rams practice game (Video)

The Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams held practices together on Saturday, and the benches cleared at one point.
With training camp underway in the NFL, you are bound to get updates from certain teams regarding a practice escalating into a pull apart or brawl. The most notable to take place actually occurred earlier this week at New York Giants camp. But on Saturday, tensions rose between the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Rams.
During practice, Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald battled Cowboys guard Connor Williams on a play. Donald took exception to it, and the two pulled each other to the ground, resulting in the benches clearing. You can check out the different angles of the pull-apart in the videos below from the respective media members’ Twitter accounts.

If you thought the tensions would subside following the Donald-Williams pull apart, you will be quite surprised that that was not the case.
Later on in practice, Rams linebacker Kenny Young and Cowboys running back Tony Pollard got tangled up on the sidelines following a play. Young then took a swing at Pollard, who then chased after the linebacker before being separated by players and Rams head coach Sean McVay.
For those of you wondering if the Cowboys and Rams face off in the preseason, the answer is no. The same goes for the regular-season. The only chance of a meeting between the two teams this year will occur if they match up in the playoffs. Given the Rams’ improvements this offseason and the Cowboys being in the wide open NFC East division, it certainly is possible.
When you look back on the Cowboys-Rams joint practice on Saturday, Aug. 7, you will remember that it was very active, to say the least.
