Pick Analysis. Baltimore Ravens. Dez Bryant. 26. Scouting Report. WR. 2. player

Dez Bryant returned last season to play for the arch rival Baltimore Ravens

If the Steelers are willing to take a gamble this offseason to potentially offset trading Washington, they might want to pry a former Pro Bowl wide receiver away from a division rival. Yes, we need to consider the possibility of Dez Bryant leaving the Baltimore Ravens for the Steelers in his free agency. Bryant was back in the league after a two-year absence in 2020, but barely played at all.

This would be Bryant’s age-33 season out of Oklahoma State, so Steelers would be replacing one former Cowboy with another. The only differences here are age and career NFL productivity. Bryant was sensational in his prime with the Dallas Cowboys, but is seven years removed from his last 1,000-yard season. Again, that is not what he will be asked to do if he replaces Washington.

Will there be times where we could see the Bryant of old? Definitely, as we can trust Roethlisberger to do a better job of getting him the football more consistently than Lamar Jackson has been able to in Baltimore. Is adding Bryant a high-risk, high-reward proposition in free agency? Totally, but you have to wonder if the Steelers can squeeze the last bit of juice out of him.

At the very least, Bryant would be able to give the Steelers some intel on the arch rival Ravens.
