Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green showed up to Summer League wearing his Olympic gold medal.

The Summer Olympics have reached their conclusion, and one of the closing moments of the even was the United States mens national team defeating France to win their fourth consecutive gold medal. In the days following the win, members of Team USA are still celebrating, and understandably so.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green arrived at NBA Summer League on Wednesday night, and he did so while showing off his new gold medal to those in attendance.

Warriors: Draymond Green shows up to NBA Summer League with Olympic gold medal

Green is not the only member of Team USA to show up to the Summer League with their gold medal. Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo proudly held his Olympic gold medal in his hand when arriving in Las Vegas.

The Warriors defensive stalwart logged four games (two starts) with Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics, where he tallied 25 points (6-for-14 from field), 13 assists, 11 rebounds, eight blocks and four steals, per his Team USA basketball profile. Pair that with Kevin Durantā€™s historic performance throughout the tournament, and Green left the Summer Olympics with his second gold medal.

With the Olympics now over, Green will now prepare for Golden Stateā€™s upcoming season. Last year, the team just missed out on the playoffs after losing to both the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in round. And that was without Klay Thompson active for the entirety of the campaign. Now, with Thompson slated to return this upcoming season, the Warriors will look to make a return to the playoffs and, hopefully, the NBA Finals.
