Preseason football is finally upon us. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off on Saturday the 14th, here’s everything you need to know before kickoff.
It feels like it’s been an eternity since we’ve seen football, but it’s finally creeping its way back into our lives. For week one of preseason starting this weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals face the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. To no surprise, Tom Brady will not be playing in week one of preseason play.
But what about the Bengals? How will their quarterback fair for the first week of preseason play?
Joe Burrow is playing it safe and not expected to play in week one of preseason against the Buccaneers

It was also expected to see the QB1, Joe Burrow make his debut… but that won’t happen this game. Burrow, who’s been recovering from a major surgery after a torn ACL is still playing it safe according to Cincy Jungle. So while it may have been exciting to see him make his appearance, it won’t be this game.
Partner this with an impending tropical depression on the radar, folks may be wondering if the game is even on. But it is Florida, they get this all the time… and it looks like the game is still on until further notice.

For now, we’ll enjoy any football that we can. It doesn’t mean we still don’t get to see some other players step up on both sides of the ball, the bigger concern is rest and recovery for Burrow. For Brady… enjoy the show I guess?
