Saints fans can relax after latest Michael Thomas report
In some good news for the New Orleans Saints, star wide receiver Michael Thomas will be with his teammates for the preseason game at Baltimore.
Unfortunately for New Orleans Saints fans, most of the news surrounding superstar wideout Michael Thomas this offseason has been filled with drama. It appears he’s got plenty of issues with the front office, which has been made more than clear on his Twitter account.
With that said, it doesn’t look like folks need to worry about his relationship with his teammates. Per insider Mike Triplett, Thomas has traveled to Baltimore ahead of the team’s showdown with the Ravens. While he won’t play due to injury, he’ll be there supporting his football brothers.
It looks like Michael Thomas’ relationship with the Saints is improving
Per Triplett, Thomas’ relationship with the Saints is actually improving too. Obviously, this is monster news. Things had continued to go even further south after it was revealed that Thomas underwent ankle surgery in June. That ankle bothered him throughout last season too.
With the two sides openly having so much beef, it reminded folks of what was going on previously in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers. Trade rumors started to fly, which no one in New Orleans wants to see.
Luckily, it really does feel like things are starting to change and Thomas and the Saints are finally starting to get in a decent spot. If things really were awful, there’s simply no way he’d be on the sidelines on Saturday night to watch his team play.
Moving forward, Thomas will work to keep rehabbing and do everything in his power to make plays on the field as soon as possible. Payton needs him in action if the Saints want to make any noise in the NFC South this campaign.
