Kool-Aid McKinstry signs the greatest NIL deal of all time by partnering with Kool-Aid.

Even though he has never played a snap for Nick Saban’s Alabama football team, Kool-Aid McKinstry has secured the greatest NIL deal of all time by partnering with none other than Kool-Aid.

Oh, yeah!

McKinstry’s given name is Ga’Quincy but has long referred to himself as Kool-Aid, a childhood nickname given to him by his grandmother.

He is a true freshman at Alabama and was a five-star recruit coming out of high school.

According to the 247Sports Composite, he was the No. 1 cornerback in the country, the No. 1 player from Alabama and the No. 18 overall prospect in 2021.

As a part of the much-anticipated NIL announcement, Kool-Aid and McKinstry temporarily swapped Twitter accounts to celebrate the momentous occasion. On McKinstry’s account, he asked the rhetorical question of if he is allowed to say, “Oh, yeah!” every time he walks into a room. The better question is what are the ramifications if he does not enter a room like this.

Beverages aside, McKinstry has a big opportunity ahead of him. Not only does he have the sweet NIL deal with Kool-Aid in tote, but he gets to play his college football for an icon in Saban in his home state. McKinstry’s high-profile commitment largely came down to the two Power Five schools in the Yellow Hammer State. He picked the team that rocks the crimson like Kool-Aid Man.

I will raise you a tall glass of red Kool-Aid if you can find a better NIL partnership than this one.
