Wrestling Twitter went absolutely bonkers upon CM Punk’s return to wrestling when he appeared on AEW Rampage.
Over seven years after he walked out on WWE following his last in-ring appearance at the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble, CM Punk has officially returned to wrestling.
After months of speculation, hope and rumors, Punk appeared to start the second edition of AEW Rampage, in his hometown of Chicago, with the official confirmation that he has signed with AEW.
He added that he will officially make his in-ring return on Sept. 5, at the AEW All Out pay-per-view.
