Check out these new Miami football team uniforms that feel like a blast from the past.

The Miami football program is trending up under head coach Manny Diaz, and the Hurricanes now have the uniforms to make everybody jealous.

No Power Five program has more perpetual drip and swag than The U. While that has not translated to a ton of on-field success since joining the ACC, Miami should be a dark horse contender to make the College Football Playoff for the first time in school history this season. If they do so, they will do so wearing these incredible, retro-inspired uniforms that are so sick!

If these new old-school Miami uniforms don’t light a fire in you, then your wood is wet.

The orange and green are synonymous with Miami football. While it has been a while since The U was The U, Miami is recruiting at a great level once again under Diaz. Though they are still a year or so away from potentially challenging the Clemson Tigers in the ACC, the Canes do begin the season ranked inside of the top 25. It would not be the least bit shocking if they won the Coastal.

With Heisman Trophy contender D’Eriq King back at quarterback for another season, Miami has the feel of a potential New Year’s Six bowl team. No matter how the season ends, the Canes will look sweet in these crisp and sharp jerseys. Going with the orange as the primary color with green accents around the shoulder pads should make their players feel like they can take on anyone.

The sooner Miami can get back to being a true national power, the better college football will be.
