Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is all set to throw during 7-on-7 work which is obviously a good sign for the team.

This summer, there’s been plenty of concern for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Coming off his fractured ankle last season, Prescott busted his hump to get himself ready for training camp.

Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury early on and hasn’t been able to throw the ball in live reps ever since. That’s going to change on Wednesday, though, as the star signal-caller is getting ready to rock during the 7-on-7 work.

Dak Prescott throwing again at practice is coming at the right time for Dallas

With Week 1 of the NFL season a little over two weeks away, Prescott is hoping to step his work up starting on Wednesday to make sure he’s ready. Dallas has quite the challenge ahead, as the NFC East side will open the new year going up against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In order for Dallas to have a shot of taking down the reigning Super Bowl champions, Prescott will need to be on the field and play his best ball. That shoulder of his also needs to be close to 100 percent.

Cowboys fans saw in 2020 just how much the team missed Prescott as soon as he went down with his horrific ankle injury. Andy Dalton simply couldn’t match the same kind of intensity that Prescott brought to the field.

All eyes will be on Prescott come practice on Wednesday to see how his shoulder fares tossing the ball around. Folks all over Dallas will be hoping that the quarterback doesn’t suffer any kind of a setback and that he’ll put on a show in his limited work. We’ll see how things shape out.
