(Consensus ADP: #140 in PPR leagues)

"I’ll bet all my game checks on [Elijah Moore] winning ROY! — Titans WR A.J. Brown on Twitter"

A.J. Brown tweeted about his excitement for former Ole Miss teammate. Although he’s saying this with a good amount of bias, Brown may be right.

Elijah Moore was arguably the most talented receiver coming out of the 2021 draft class. The Jets brass was stunned that Moore fell into their laps in the second round.

The hype continued into the spring, where The Athletic’s Connor Hughes noted Moore had “been the most impressive player at OTAs and it’s not really close.”

The Jets’ offense is projected to be much more prolific than in years past, with first-round quarterback Zach Wilson under center.

There’s something about the “Rookie QB+Rookie WR=Success” equation that really draws my attention here. Think Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins of last year. Although Moore is smaller, he will likely soak up quite a few of Wilson’s dump-off and midfield throws.

He’s listed as a backup for the Jets at the moment but that quite obviously won’t last long.

Moore suffered a minor injury which has sidelined him for a couple of weeks, but he’s expected to be fully healthy for Week 1. Grabbing him in your drafts should be easy, as many casual fantasy footballers won’t even be looking his way.
