The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Minnesota Vikings in the final week of preseason play. Expect to see the first string take the field while we gear up for Week 1.
We can all breathe easy, kind of. Preseason is almost over, meaning that this will be as close as we can get to envisioning what we’ll see in the regular season. Expect to see your starters ball out and give you the best glimpse of their performances in week one, be it good or bad.
The Kansas City Chiefs, who are 2-0 in preseason, are taking on a Minnesota Vikings team that’s taken a few hits to their roster, but it’s nothing that can’t be improved on. The Vikings lose Kyle Rudolph and get Patrick Peterson in return, while the Chiefs have to make some big decisions on who stays and goes on their own roster.
The Vikings travel to Kansas City to try and get a W on the record. The Chiefs hope to stay unscathed in preseason.
Date: August 27
Time: 8:00p.m. ET
Location: Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City
Stream: Fubo.TV, Sportsurge
With the close of preseason finally here, there’s no question we’ll see Kirk Cousins and Patrick Mahomes take the field for both teams. The question will be how will the Vikings fair?
While the Chiefs have decisions to make on their roster spots, the Vikings have similar concerns. They’ll be playing on the road and concerns will arise on who will step up in Adam Thielen’s place. The clock is ticking for the Vikes to perform at game speed and this will be the biggest indicator on how both teams will play out come Week 1.
