Mitchell Schwartz threw a whole lot of shade on Viking Kirk Cousinsā 3-and-out performance in Fridayās preseason game.
Minnesota VikingsĀ quarterback Kirk Cousins has a bad relationship with reading the situations. Sometimes he delivers. Sometimes, he absolutely, positively does not. Friday nightās game against the Kansas City Chiefs is showing more of the same again, and some folks are not holding back.
That includes some former Chiefs players.
Former Kansas City All-Pro right tackle Mitchell Schwartz unloaded on Cousins after his checkdown on third-and-15.
Mitchell Schwartz didnāt hold back on Kirk Cousinsā performance, saying heās already in midseason form
Schwartz, who played for the Chiefs from 2016-20, took to Twitter to take note that Cousins is already at peak performance, being unable to convert on the third down.
You have to wonder what happens if Kirk Cousins sees this tweet. Itās not the first time heās been burned, since his own head coach threw him under the bus for not being vaccinated along with gaining a new superhero nickname (spoiler: itās not a good hero name considering his performance).
Cousins is really catching strays left and right. You have to wonder how itāll affect his performance in the regular season if theyāre already getting ready for the jokes in preseason. The frustration will only grow from here, but letās hope the Vikings adjust accordingly.
Well⦠as much as they can at least.
