Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley negotiate rematch if Woodley gets tattoo
Jake Paul defeated Tyron Woodley by split decision, but they negotiated terms for a rematch, but Woodley needs to get an embarrassing tattoo.
Things went in favor of Jake Paul on Sunday, Aug. 29. He defeated former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley via split decision, but their in-ring conversation brought the possibility of a boxing rematch.
Before the fight during a press conference, Paul and Woodley made a bet regarding a tattoo. If Paul won, Woodley would have to get “I love Jake Paul tattooed” on his body. If Woodley won, then Paul would get the tattoo with Woodley’s name. Paul brought tattoo artist Tatu Baby to the fight to tattoo the loser.
Paul won, so Woodley should be getting the tattoo regardless, but Paul seems intent on making sure Woodley stays true to their bargain.
Tyron Woodley agreed to get Jake Paul’s name tattooed on his leg if he received a rematch
In the ring after the fight, Woodley pressed Paul for a rematch. At first, he was dismissive but then told Woodley he would agree to the rematch if Woodley got “I love Jake Paul” tattooed on his leg immediately.
Woodley responded, “Bet,” emphatically.
The two shook hands before leaving the ring. That’s not all that official, but it was an action that the world saw go down live in the ring.
Will Woodley get the tattoo? Will there be a rematch? The Paul vs. Woodley drama continues.
