Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy, is expected to be released on Friday, September 3. What time it’ll be available on streaming services remains a mystery.
This is Drake’s sixth studio album, and a continuation of his previous project Scorpion, which was released in 2018.
The sports world is itching with anticipation, with athletes like LeBron James and Kevin Durant tweeting out their support of Drake earlier on Thursday. Drake — who is an ambassador for the Toronto Raptors — is influential in the sports community.
Drake recently reignited his feud with fellow rapper Kanye West, whose rival project Donda was released recently as well. Whether fair or not, Certified Lover Boy will be seen as a direct rival to Donda in both sales and streams.
