Alabama football alums had a blast watching the Crimson Tide dominate the Miami Hurricanes in the season opener.

Alabama looks like they’re going to be pretty good this year.

Talk about an understatement but the Crimson Tide barely had to break a sweat against the Miami Hurricanes in their season opener.

The Crimson Tide defense looks like it may be one of the best Nick Saban has ever had in Tuscaloosa, which says a lot and should be terrifying for opposing offenses in the SEC.

First-year starting quarterback Bryce Young set a program record with four touchdowns (at the time of publishing), breaking the record held by Joe Namath and Mac Jones in an Alabama quarterbacks’ first start.

Several Alabama football legends who are preparing for the NFL season had a lot of fun watching the domination and let it known on Twitter they were repping their program from afar.

Najee Harris didn’t need to say much on Twitter to get his point across.

Miami trailed 27-3 in the first half when it looked like they forced a turnover. With the Canes defense breaking out the turnover chain, the call was reversed, thus negating the need for the turnover chain. Heisman winner Mark Ingram had the perfect response to that, breaking out this memorable scene from Friday.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith gave love to the group of receivers carrying on his legacy.

Smith’s former Rydeout teammate, Henry Ruggs III, shared an elephant emoji as the Tide had no trouble stampeding over another foe that didn’t want Bama.
