It’s great to have Lee Corso back on the set of College GameDay for his headgear pick after being on his own last year due to COVID safeguards.

Lee Corso is back with his College GameDay co-hosts after being isolated last year as he took precautions against the coronavirus and broadcast from his home.

After rejoining Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and David Pollack for the Week 0 show, Corso is back on-site in Charlotte for the Clemson-Georgia showdown.

With Corso back in person, it makes his headgear pick even more of a must-see event.

Corso is already on record picking Georgia to win their first national championship since 1980, so is there any suspense who he’ll be picking when the Dawgs take on Dabo Swinney’s No. 3 Tigers?

Corso announced he was picking Clemson before saying, ā€œNot so fast, my friend!ā€

Corso said it is the ā€œyear of the dogā€ and pulled out the Georgia Dawg head to make his pick official for Georgia.

Clemson and Georgia start at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. A few hours after that, we’ll know whether Corso made the right pick or if he gave out some extra motivation for the victors.
