The Miami football team having to put away the turnover chain after a call reversal is just about the saddest thing you will see all college football Saturday.

In the midst of getting their gold teeth kicked in, the Miami football team had to put away its most sacred turnover chain after an incredibly sad call reversal.

No program is more synonymous with making a big play defensively and then celebrating it quite like The U. Many people thought this would be the year for the Hurricanes, but Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide ran through them like s**t through a tin horn. The only thing Miami had going for it was the off-chance it could celebrate a turnover, but they were denied of it so sadly.

This is the epitome of being denied a consolation prize after getting thoroughly eviscerated on TV.

Admittedly, once Alabama decided to start being Alabama from the opening kickoff, this was the only thing Miami fans could look forward to. Yes, the Hurricanes can still win the ACC and maybe make the playoff if they shellack Clemson in Charlotte, but how can it be all about The U when they cannot even be all about their glorious turnover chain? May it return in all of its glory in the future.

This turnover chain fail encapsulates how abysmal of a performance it was for Miami in Atlanta.
