Former Michigan quarterback Ren Hefley broke an FCS record with 10 passing touchdowns in his stellar debut for Presbyterian.

There’s a new FCS record holder for touchdown passes in a game and his name is Ren Hefley.

The Presbyterian quarterback had an incredible debut with 538 yards and 10 touchdowns on 38-of-50 passing.

Presbyterian College football: Who is Ren Hefley?

Michigan football fans might recognize the name. Hefley was a walk-on quarterback for the Wolverines before transferring to Presbyterian. He joined the team in 2019 and was an Academic All-Big Ten selection over his two years with the team, but he never played.

That transfer decision worked out pretty well for him in the end. He seems to have found exactly the spot he should be in.
