2. Ty’Son Williams, RB, Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens signed Ty’Son Williams in 2020 after going undrafted. He remained mostly on the practice squad, but has impressed enough in 2021 that he made the 53-man roster.

Not only did Williams make the roster, but because of J.K. Dobbins’ season-ending injury, he can and should produce this season. Williams reportedly ‘leapfrogged’ Justice Hill on the depth chart for No. 2 duties, per ESPN’s Jamison Hensley.

Gus Edwards, the previous No. 2 for the Ravens, is now the RB1. When he was the RB2, he had no less than 130 carries and no less than 700 yards. This production is up for grabs in Baltimore. If Williams seizes the No. 2 job, he will get that production and possibly more.

Don’t discount the possibility of Williams cementing himself into a weekly role with Baltimore and possibly becoming the starter. His preseason stats of 24 carries for 130 yards and one touchdown impressed the Ravens, and will likely earn him meaningful playing time.
