The Bears offense simply needs to show up, as they face a potent Rams offense that could potentially put more points on the board with Stafford throwing the rock. That is why second-year receiver Darnell Mooney needs to have a big game this upcoming Sunday night.

Yes, star receiver Allen Robinson is an easy choice to say that he needs to play well on Sunday. However, there needs to be receivers who take advantage of the extra attention Robinson will no doubt receive against Los Angeles’ defense. Mooney certainly has the skill to do so.

In his rookie season, Mooney caught 61-of-98 of his targets for 631 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bears have some speed in their wide receiver room that can help them give the Rams secondary fits. But if there is one player that needs to breakout, it is Mooney, especially with Robinson expected to be out of commission for the majority of the game.
